Cancer One simple word yet the complexity it brings to your life is anything but simple.

Whether you are the one being diagnosed or a loved one, the reality of hearing that word can bring a flood of emotions, even to the strong at heart.

I understand the emotional roller coaster this disease can take you on.  My mother Barbara Jean was diagnosed with stage four liver cancer in 2003. Life was put into a new perspective that day.

We counted our blessings every minute we had with her and we went about buying memories, as she liked to call it.

My mother passed in 2004. She is very much present in all that I do and am.  Having gone through the experience with my mother personally and hundreds of women professionally, I understand the emotional scars associated with losing your hair.

Let me help in the healing process of empowering yourself.  Cancer may have taken the hair but it doesn’t have to take the heart.

I do offer a wide variety of hats, scarves and beanies available on the website, however, as a licensed cosmetologist, I have found the most effective way to cater to my wig clientele is with my personal assistance.

Finding a wig from a web site can often be a daunting challenge only to find, once in your possession it doesn’t compare to the picture, which has been professionally cut and styled.

I have a private room available by appointment ensuring you and your family a comfortable setting while you choose the style of wig fit just for you.

It is my desire to make the experience as soothing as possible so you are welcome to bring your own stylist with you to assist in your choice if you so choose.

I’m looking forward to helping you with your hair care needs, after all I do have Barbara’s genes.
